Bruce S. Schoenberg International Award in Neuroepidemiology

This award is in tribute to the career of Bruce S. Schoenberg, MD, in training neurologists internationally in epidemiologic methods. The award salutes those who are in their early and mid-career, who have a strong background and future promise as a leader in neuroepidemiological research. Applicants must reside in a Low-income Country or Lower Middle-income Country as designated by the World Bank.

Eligibility
- Must be a permanent resident of a Low-income Country (LIC) or Lower Middle-income Country (LMIC) as designated by the World Bank
- Must have collected study's data in a Low-income Country (LIC) or Lower Middle-income Country (LMIC) as designated by the World Bank
- Must have played an important role with a goal for performing future epidemiologic research on a neurological disease in a resource-limited setting(s)
- Industry employees are not eligible to apply
*Individuals from Low-income (LIC) or Lower Middle-income Countries (LMIC) are eligible to apply
Applicants should submit one complete set of the following materials:
- Completed application form
- Personal statement (<1000 words) on background in neuroepidemiology and future plans to contribute to the field of neuroepidemiology, specifically how the candidate will contribute to neuroepidemiology research in LIC/LMIC regions. Please provide details on the role you played in the abstract.
- Current curriculum vitae including date of birth, training, and bibliography
- Maximum 500-word abstract on epidemiological research on a neurological disease study in which applicant played an important role (abstract will be ineligible for submission to the 2025 Scientific Program).
